anyway back to the series, we enter hong kong from shenzhen via the public transport network, or rather, the metros at huanggang station, shenzhen (皇岗) and luomazhou, hk (落马洲) respectively. immigration was a breeze.
my immediate impression of hk was DENSE + COMPACT!! my sister and i managed to do minimal shopping at first mongkok , followed by tsim sha tsui and then central - in one day!!!! however i was glad to take the star ferry that i always see in hk drama series.
we reached central, hk island in the evening as we lost our way in mongkok trying to find the 老婆饼 shop. managed to locate it with the aid of friendly shopkeepers and going against a stream of tourists with the 老婆饼 in hand. luckily it was worth the effort. headed to tsim sha tsui immediately.
damn tired and we missed the last train at shenzhen side. well, hopefully we return to hk again for a longer trip.
