vacation over.

had just ended a long day. landed in sunny singapore from guangzhou around mid-afternoon and thereafter headed over to the newly opened "ion" at orchard road for some exploring.

anyway in summary the trip to southern china was rather fruitful. purchased plenty of stuff and in the end i needed to buy a bigger luggage to contain my purchases. i was actually expecting storms over in the region as predicted by the meteorological stations, but fortunately the week was blessed with sunny weather throughout.

i will be sharing photos and stuff of the trip over the next week or so...

back to blogging.

hi guys i am back blogging after a long hiatus. decided to abandon my previous blog and start over with a new site address. thanks for the encouragements to get me blogging again.

i am finally taking a long leave from work starting tomorrow. many colleagues are taking leave throughout this week, one each day, and it seems kinda weird to see the office occupancy slowly dwindling.

finally my broken window grills has been fixed. there was an attempted break-in at my residence last week, or should i said specifically, my room! here's a picture of the window grill after we discovered the break-in:


thank god the burglar did not succeed, otherwise i would be in deep shit as i happened to stash quite a substantial amount of foreign currencies in my room that week. the police said this is the first burglary attempt in my area, how embarrassing!

no worries though. i will be spending the money for my long-awaited trip this saturday. kinda look forward to it. i will be visiting shenzhen, hong kong, zhuhai and guangzhou. i wonder how many percent of my prepared itinerary will i be able to execute.
